Brooke is obsessed with Princesses and pretends to be one at some point every day. Tonight she got all decked out in a pretty little dress her Aunt Janna and Uncle Richard got her for Christmas.

You’ve likely seen all the deals I’ve been getting by combining coupons and sales. Well recently I’ve decided to branch out a little more and try some other money saving/earning strategies.
Last Thursday, we went to David’s award’s ceremony at school. We didn’t know for sure if he would be getting an award or not, but I thought he probably would since he got 100% on his report card.
I meant to post this yesterday but forgot to do it. As I walked past out back door last night, I was in awe of the colorful sky and I wanted to share it wth you. Isn’t it beautiful?
Brooke’s first Easter egg hunt was a great success. Neither Brooke nor David found a prize egg, but they got lots of candy and about 200 plastic eggs. (We threw over half in the garbage!). David was a little afraid of the Easter Bunny for some reason so his smile was less than enthusiastic. Enjoy the photo gallery.
The funniest thing about the day was David poor luck with balloons. First, we got him one, and tied it to his basket so he wouldn’t loose it. Halfway through the egg hunt, it strangely came untied and flew off. After the hunt we went to get a new one. This time Pastor Stewart tied it to David’s arm. Two minutes later, the balloon deflated. When went back. Got another balloon, tied it to his arm, and before we could walk away, it too started deflating. Guess third time is NOT the charm. Finally the last one made it home.
